My name is Rajiv Joshi, I am an activist and scholar currently working with the Global Call to Action Against Poverty - A global movement calling for urgent action against growing social injuste, poverty and inequality.

I am a Graduate of the School of Public and International Affairs at Columbia University in New York.

I grew up in Scotland where for a number of years I Led the Scottish Youth Parliament.

My passion is to help build a safer, more just world where all people are able to realise their potential and live with dignity and access to the full range of human freedoms without compromising the ability of the planet to sustain all forms of life.

As the the light fades and the dust settles on the London summit - I find myself asking so many question? Will the decisions taken here live on as a historic moment in our world?are we closer to building a better world ? …….. The debates continue - time to let off some steam and party!!!!
